Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story to air its last episode on September 30 before Bigg Boss 14 kicks in?Reports about Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story going off-air came out last month and as it turns out, they have resurfaced.

Shubharambh which currently airs at 9 pm, will get a new timeslot of 9.30 pm. Naati Pinky ki Lambi Love Story which airs at 9.30 pm will be further pushed to 10.00 pm. Pavitra Bhagya will now air at 10.30 pm instead of 10 pm.

The show will trace the journey of Pinky who is short but feisty, a fighter but also a dreamer, perceived as flawed but hope to find her true love. Produced by Bodhi Tree Multimedia, Co-powered by Pravin Masalewale, Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story premieres on 27th January 2020 and will air every Mon-Fri at 9:30 pm.

A typical Delhi girl, Pinky Kashyap (played by Riya Shukla) is born and brought up in an orthodox Brahmin family. Standing tall at 4 feet 8 inches, she wants nothing beyond a conventional, married life. While her life comes with its own share of drama but Pinky tactfully uses her strength to counterweight what society defines as her physical drawback. Raised in a tightly knit family with a strict and reserved father, a loving and supportive dadi, a melodramatic mother, Pinky believes in living life to the fullest. Just like every other girl, even Pinky’s parents want her to get married, her height always poses as a hurdle. But while Pinky is determined, she soon finds out that going the conventional way is not always easy. Will she find the Amitabh to her Jaya? Will she get married to her true love?

Naati Pinky’s incredible love story is going to make you smile, laugh and make you moist eyed as the cast of Riya Shukla, Puneet Choksey in the lead roles and Vishwajeet Pradhan (playing Pinky’s father as Ram Kashyap), Dheeraj Rai (playing Pinky’s love interest as Gagan) and Bharti Achrekar (playing Pinky’s Dadi) will take the viewer on a joyride.

Focussing on her ‘short’comings and how she tactfully fights them, COLORS has designed a 360-degree campaign to engage with the viewers. Right from installing handle extensions in metros, Pinky helping the listeners on radio with their short girl problems to introducing Naati Pinky Ki Naati Chai glasses, the entire campaign will highlight many quirks of Pinky’s personality. The entire campaign is backed by strong print, digital, radio, on-ground and television plans to create a major impact. Additionally, the channel will also introduce a digital property #NaatiTales which will embody the essence of the show's lead character Pinky through various content pieces and digital mediums. Colors TV is coming up with an interesting story revolving around the life of a short girl's love story, who is on a journey to find her perfect match. Titled, Nati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story; the show has a unique concept. Actress Riya Shukla will be essaying the lead character. Now, from what we hear from our sources is, talented actress and model, Ravneet Kaur has been roped in to play an important second lead in the show. A fashionista by nature, Ravneet will be essaying the character of a fashion designer named Megha in the show who has a pivotal role in the show. Megha will create much difficulties and twists in Pinky's life since she is her to be husband, Gagan's boss as well as girl friend. Long runner Yeh Hai Mohobbatein may have already ended over a couple of months ago but it seems the actors associated with the project have seemingly bagged new projects already. Actor Abhishek Verma, who played the role of Adi in the Star Plus show has now bagged his upcoming project. What's interesting is that this show is also helmed by Ekta Kapoor and this time the show will be on Colors channel. A few days ago, there were reports about how Ishqbaaaz fame Kunal Jaisingh has been roped in to play the leading role in the Colors show. Colors channel is currently in the process of coming up with new shows which includes a couple of fiction shows and a couple of reality shows too. Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story is all set to go on-air soon while Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 is also in the works. When it comes to the reality slate, the channel will be having Shehnaz Gill Ki Shaadi and Legend Cricket League (cricket tournament). One show that was just trying to find its footing before the lockdown happened was Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story, which was the channel's latest outing.

The resumption of shoots has indeed led to an array of debates too where some people continue to stress on how they don't agree with resuming work right now where the scare of contracting the disease is probably at its max and cases are only rising four times with every passing day. On the other hand, the practical side dictates how resuming work is indeed the only way that people can earn money to feed their households, especially when it comes to the technicians and crew of a shoot.

Interestingly, this isn't the only double role that will be seen in a show where Shivangi Joshi will also be seen playing a double role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai post lockdown.
