Star Plus' Chand Chupa Badal Mein will now see Nivi expressing her love for Viren, which will make Sid jealous..

Star Plus and Rajan Shahi's Chand Chupa Badal Mein will go thro' a festive phase with the kickstart of the wedding rituals of Siddharth (Abhishek Tewari) and Divya (Rishma Rochlani). But this track will continue to have that factor of intrigue, and viewers will be at the edge of their seats to know who will marry who at the end of it!!



The shoot for the Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies are on at the moment, and we hear that there is a twist expected at this phase of the show!! Our source tells us, "During the Mehendi sequence, viewers will see a bright new shade of Nivedita (Neha Sargam) wherein she will shed her inhibitions for the first time ever, and will reciprocate to Viren's (Kinshuk Mahajan) feelings. There will be a great chemistry seen between Nivi and Viren during this episode. For the first time, Nivi will get proactive and be seen performing a dance number along with Viren on the song 'Doli Sajake Rakhna'. The girl who was once shy to even speak her heart out will now open up before all and reveal her feelings for Viren thro' the song".

We hear that this performance which will depict the closeness between Viren and Nivi will create a jealousy angle within Sid. Our source further states, "Sid will be shocked to see the developing closeness between Viren and Nivi. He is confused as to why Viren loves Nivi, and also does not know why Nivi of all people is reciprocating his feelings. This confused state of affairs leads to jealousy and Sid will try to clear things out before his marriage".

We hear that there is a major twist to happen during the Sangeet celebrations, which will bring about certain revelations. When contacted, Abhishek Tewari aka Sid told us, "Yes, it is the jealousy factor that is coming out because of the innocent confusion that prevails in Sid's mind. He is utterly shocked and has no clue as to why Nivedita and Viren are getting close".

Kinshuk Mahajan states, "Yes, we are shooting for the dance performance right now. It is the first time that I am dancing with Neha and she is a very good dancer and dances well to the beats. The entire song will have hidden messages to give, which will leave Sid confused. But at the end of the song, Sid will understand what is exactly happening. So look for this twist". Story:

• Set in the beautiful hill town of Simla, Chand Chupa Badal Mein narrates the tale of a middle-class girl Nivedita Sharma a.k.a. Nivi a.k.a. Putul.
  
• She is kind, sweet, responsible, but also nervous and reserved.
  
• She lost her mother when she was a little girl. Since then, she has been living with her grandmother, father and younger brother.
• Nivedita meets her childhood friend Siddharth Sood after many years and the two fall in love with each other. But on discovering that her cousin Divya also loves Siddharth, Nivi unhesitatingly sacrifices her own love by pretending that she is indifferent to him.
  
• Under pressure from his family, and hurt by Nivi's rejection, Siddharth marries Divya. And Nivi marries Siddharth's cousin Viren.
• Later, it is revealed that Viren married Nivi to take revenge against Siddharth and his family. However, gradually both Nivi and Viren start caring for each other.
• When Nivi discovers Viren's real intentions she transforms him and brings him closer to his family. Their lives take many more twists and turns from there.
  
• The shy Nivi blossoms into a confident woman with the help of Viren, meeting challenges with unshakable optimism.

Unknown Facts:

• Poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar introduced the show with a recitation. He also lent his voice to the promotions of the show. Some scenes were shot in the environs of Himachal Pradesh.
• The story being based on backdrop of Shimla, a set of Shimla was created in 35,000 sq feet area in Mumbai Film City for shooting the series with about planting of 200 trees; the sets of mountains, streams and wooden cottages with rooms were also created to recreate Shimla. These all cost about ₹ 3 crores to construct
