Archana-Manav head for their honeymoon; to consummate marriage
Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta will finally get into the next phase wherein the much-in-love couple Archana and Manav consummate their marriage..
In the Zee Rishtey Awards that was aired yesterday, there was a comic skit that talked about the 'Suhaag Raat' of the lead protagonists of Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta, and how Manav's mother has always been a 'Kabab Main Haddi' to it!! . Well, it looks as though the Gods have already answered Manav and Archana's prayers, as the latest is that the couple will soon consummate their marriage in the romantic locales of Pune which will be their first honey moon after marriage.
A reliable source from the set informs, "Soon Archana's parents will accept the wedding of Archana (Ankita Lokhande) and Manav (Sushant Singh Rajput) and they plan to send them off for a honeymoon".
"There will be some great romantic scenes shot between the couple and the viewers will get what they exactly wanted. The unit is all set to go to Pune to shoot the honey moon sequence. The makers plan to incoporate the essence of Pune and its beautiful locales in the shoot", adds source.
We contacted Ankita Lokhande who confirmed, "Yes, tomorrow we will leave for Pune as our honeymoon shoot will be shot there." Guess this is a good Year ending treat for the loyal viewers of Pavitra Rishta..

Pavitra Rishta (International title: Sacred Relationship) is a 2009 Indian soap opera produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms, that aired on Zee TV and was digitally available on ZEE5 from June 01, 2009 to October 25, 2014. Its initial concept is an adaptation from the Tamil serial Thirumathi Selvam of Sun TV.
Ending:
The show ends as Ankita unites with her family, bringing the storyline to a full circle. All the three generation leads i.e. Manav-Archana, Arjun-Purvi and Ankita-Naren together commemorate their "Pavitra Rishta". However, Manav meets with a fatal accident, and Archana dies of grief. Their souls are shown to be in heaven together expressing their undying love for each other.
Unknown Facts about the show:
- Sushant Singh Rajput who was playing parallel lead in Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil of StarPlus was cast as Manav. Zee TV did not accept him for casting as Manav as he was a parallel lead of the show in their rival channel. But Producer Ekta Kapoor convinced the channel to accept him. In November 2011 Rajput quit the series and was replaced by Hiten Tejwani. However, during the final of the series on 25 October 2014, Tejwani paved way for Rajput who appeared in the final episode as Manav
 - Around the late 2008, producer Ekta Kapoor and her production house Balaji Telefilms declined when the ratings and popularity of all her hit soaps of 2000s decreased and were axed and also when newly launched ones performed poorly. Since then most channels did not accept her to work. It was due to the chance given by Zee TV for this series, the career of Kapoor and her production house was revived when it became one of the top-rated Hindi television programs.
- Pavitra Rishta received several awards and nominations. Lokhande and Rajput received multiple awards for their roles Archana and Manav in the Best Actress and Best Actor categories, as has Nadkarni in the Best Negative Actress category and Ekta Kapoor in the Best Serial category.
