TCL 10 series announced with HDR10 displays, quad rear camera setup and more

The TCL 10 series phones were first unveiled at CES 2020 earlier this year. At that time, the company didn’t reveal the specifications or price of the new devices. Now, the company has not only announced pricing for the TCL 10L, 10 Pro and 10 5G, but also complete specifications.*To begin with, the TCL 10 Pro packs a*6.47-inch AMOLED screen with 1080p+ resolution and HDR10 support. Additionally, it is a Netflix-certified display, and there is also an NXTVISION chip for regular content that does realtime SDR-to-HDR tone mapping.

The latest TCL smartphone comes with a curved display and a waterdrop-style notch, which houses a 24-megapixel selfie camera. For security, there is an in-display fingerprint scanner. It ships with a Snapdragon 675 chipset and a 4,500mAh battery with 18W Quick Charge 3.0 support. The brand is selling the*6GB RAM + 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage, which is expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The back camera setup includes a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 sensor and*a 16-megapixel ultrawide-angle camera. The setup also consists of a*5-megapixel “low-light camera,” and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The TCL 10 Pro will be released*in Q2 of 2020 and will cost USD450 (roughly Rs 34,160). It ships with Android 10 out of the box.

The TCL 10 5G features a Snapdragon 765G chipset, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 18W charging.*This model has a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. There is also a 2-megapixel depth sensor at the back. It offers a 6.53-inch LCD panel with a punch-hole display design and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. This panel has 1080p+ resolution with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, HDR10 support too.*The TCL 10 5G is priced at 400 euros.
