A movie with Janhvi Kapoor (Dostana 2), Ananya Panday-Bhumi Pednekar (Pati Patni Aur Woh), and there’s one with Sara Ali Khan (Aaj Kal) – Kartik Aaryan with his choc-o-bloc schedule is having a remarkable journey as far as his Bollywood career is concerned. But amidst all this, the actor just had to make a huge sacrifice when he had to choose between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and a romance flick with Disha Patani!

A recent report by Pinkvilla confirms the same as it states that Kartik had signed a film with Anees Bazmee which was supposed to feature Kartik & Disha in a college romance. However, when the dates clashed with the sequel of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, the actor had to give up on one!

It was a college romance which had him opposite Disha Patani. The plan was to go on the floors in the last quarter of 2019 but now, Dostana 2 begins in October and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is scheduled to roll out around January 2020. In that case, since Bhool Bhulaiyaa is also being directed by Anees Bazmee. So both the filmmaker and the actor decided that they would rather do this film and give the college romance a miss. At least for now,” a source close to the development revealed.

It is further being said that the romantic flick has been pushed to a later date for now, and the leading lady may change over time. All we can hope is for this Kartik-Disha union to take place because that will be one interesting pair to witness on-screen.

Meanwhile, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will star Kartik along with a guest appearance of Akshay Kumar. Janhvi or Sara may be seen as the leading ladies for the project!
