Agnihotri (Anupam Kher) is a school teacher who is also very helpful to the people around him. When he sees a girl being kidnapped, he testifies in court. The kidnapper is the son of Jaspal Rana (Amrish Puri), who pretends to be a respectable man while in reality he is an underworld kingpin. The teacher is tortured so much by the police that he commits suicide in the courtroom. That is when his son Vishal (Sunny Deol) decides to take the law into his own hands
