Sa Re Ga Ma Pa now goes online

Zee’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar with a host of new mentors like Sajid-Wajid and Daler Mehendi joining Vishal-Shekhar is on. Now the show is soon launching an ‘Online Singing Superstar’ competition where participants can record their voices through an online karaoke application.


Apart from this, the show has also created ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Music Zones’ at select bus stops across the city that would carry the branding.



Large microphones would be seen hanging near buildings that would help aspiring singers to record their voices and participate in the contest. The show is also looking at different colleges as a pool of talent and has come up with ‘College Ka Singing Superstar’ that will be conducted across several colleges in Mumbai.

Akash Chawla, Marketing Head, Zee TV, says, “With its fresh and young appeal this year, the idea is to grab the eye-balls of a younger

demographic through clutter-breaking, innovative activities.



The show will also be positioned to connect with the hearts and minds of young-at-heart consumers. The life-size microphones and College Ka Singing Superstar initiatives are just the beginning of a comprehensive 360 degree campaign.”


With such initiatives the show is hoping to rake in good numbers but at the end of the day it’s the singing that would save the show!
