Smriti Karla wants to be a fashion designer

Smriti Karla, who plays the main lead in 12/24 Karol Bagh, produced by Sudhir Sharma on Zee TV, is keen to be a fashion designer.


She was earlier studying for her MBA as well as pursuing a career as Radio Jockey. But now she has changed her plans. “I have developed a new interest in designing my own clothes. And I am now planning to take fashion designing up as a hobby,” says Karla.

Recently the Delhi-based actress shopped for materials, pearls and Kundan while she was on a vacation in Mumbai. It seems she is serious about becoming a fashion designer. “ I would love to design my own costumes in my show too eventuall,y but before that I will need some practice,” smiles Smriti.
