After ruling the television industry for almost 10 years, Ekta Kapoor now wants to groom people to become good actors.
She will set up an acting school. She is rolling out an ambitious plan this year. The school will also impart technical education to people looking at careers beyond acting. “Today so many people come and say that it is their only motive to become an actor, it is their dream but they have no idea about acting. I want to groom people to become good actors and provide them with specialized and modern technical know-how. I want to hone their talent, that way they will be in a better position to face the brutal competition in the TV industry,” says Ekta.
It is not very hard for Ekta to run the school as her friends from the industry will be guest lecturers at the school being set up in Mumbai’s suburbs. Actors like Prachi Desai, Sakshi Tanwar, Ronit Roy, Smriti Irani,
Shweta Tiwari amongst others are expected to deliver lectures.
Well, it will be not hard for Ekta’s student to get a role as they can just act in her serials.
