Updating of Cost and Quantity Key Figures (PM-IS)
Updating of Cost and Quantity Key Figures (PM-IS)
Purpose This component enables you to update cost and quantity information relevant to the maintenance order within the Plant Maintenance Information System based on the content criteria that you have defined. This component is intended for use in the service area, for example if you want to identify the costs of the total material consumption in a value category, with one part relevant for billing and the other for goodwill. In this case, it may be necessary to identify the cost portions without revenue separately within a self-defined cost analysis. You can update maintenance costs using the following key figures in the information structures S061, S062, S065 and S115:
The updating of the six other key figures refers to the actual costs for an order and can be differentiated using the value category, in which the costs have been incurred. In Customizing, you can control which value categories are relevant for updating which key figures. These functions remain unchanged. Features You can also update the content of other cost key figures in self-defined information structures. You can use the accounting indicator in addition to the value category in order to differentiate between cost and quantity key figures on the basis of content. The accounting indicator will be a standard feature from Release 4.5A for the more detailed audit trail of costs in the PMCO file. Your cost and quantity key figures are updated at the same time as the existing information structures in the standard system. The following diagram illustrates the relationships: The actual costs and if necessary, actual quantities, resulting from the consumption of resources which are documented for the maintenance order using confirmations and material withdrawal slips are updated in the database tables PMCO and PMCOQT. The data updated in these tables is simultaneously transferred to the communications interface MCIQF. This communications interface, and particularly the substructure MCIPMCO, contains the following fields for updating internal cost and quantity key figures:
The fields designated as a distinguishing characteristic are considered when internal cost and quantity key figures are realized. The fields BELTP and WRTTP are not relevant here, since the proposed solution takes the differentiation of actual costs into account. The values and/or quantities in the fields WRTCO and MENCO are updated as a value of the relevant key figure. Last edited by bholus9; 11-04-2009 at 04:45 PM. |
