Angad goes to Star Plus from 9X

All is still not well on 9X and if sources are to be believed then the producers of all the shows that were meant for 9X have now started looking for alternatives. After the shifting of Ramlaal to another GEC, next in line is Sphere Origin’s Angad which stars Saurabh Pande and Sriti Jha. If sources are to be believed then the show will now air on Star Plus with a brand new title. The buzz also has it that Sunil Agnihotri’s paranormal show Black too has now shifted from 9X. The show stars Mamik and Aliya Shah in the lead.


A source from the show confirms, “Yes, the show has indeed been shifted to Star Plus and now it will be an hour long show with a new title. The time – slot given to the show currently is 9:30 pm and is expected to air on Saturday and Sunday. The show is tentatively to launch in the beginning of March. We have started shooting for the show and we have s****ped all the 20 episodes shot earlier for 9X.”

Sunjoy Wadhwa, producer Sphere Origin refused to comment. CEO and Founder INX Media Indrani Mukherjee did not respond to our calls.

Angad is the story of a warrior prince named Angad and his battle against the evil forces.



And we hope Angad wins the TRP battle once it finds the right launching pad.
