Default Oppo Reno Ace 2 stops by Antutu benchmark ahead of April 13 launch

Oppo Reno Ace 2, the successor to Reno Ace, is set to debut on April 13. Ahead of its launch next week, the smartphone has already appeared in the form of renders. In fact, a TENAA certification page for the device has revealed almost all the key specifications. Now, just a week ahead of its launch, a prototype model has stopped by Antutu. The device with model number PDHM00 has passed Antutu confirming it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset.

Oppo Reno Ace 2 scored 560,217 points on the Antutu benchmark test. The score is not every impressive but is inline with the benchmark score of Snapdragon 865. It managed 180,132 points in the CPU department and 210,371 points in the GPU test. The Antutu listing also reveals that Reno Ace 2 has achieved a score of 89,927 in the memory test and 79,787 points in the UX test. While it does not shatter any records, it gets the benefit of doubt for being the prototype device.

There is a possibility that the final retail variant performs better in the Antutu benchmark test. However, it needs to be noted that Antutu has disappeared from the App Store. In terms of expected specifications, we are looking at a 6.5-inch device. Oppo Reno Ace 2 is expected to feature an AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and under-display fingerprint sensor. Like Find X2 series, it will sport a punch-hole cutout at the top left hand corner. This cutout is tipped to house a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

On the back, Oppo Reno Ace 2 will feature a circular quad camera setup. This design seems identical to that of the OnePlus 7T. The main shooter is expected to be a 48-megapixel unit paired with an 8-megapixel sensor and two 2-megapixel units. It is expected to come in two storage variants: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The smartphone will run Android 10 with ColorOS 7 on top of it. It is expected to pack a 4,000mAh battery and support 65W Super VOOC*fast charging.
