Default Samsung Galaxy M30s leak hints at a redesigned triple-camera setup at the back

It’s no secret that Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy M30s in India sometime next month. There’s been no official word from the company yet, but that hasn’t stopped the barrage of leaks. The latest Samsung Galaxy M30s leak gives us a glimpse at the back panel, and the redesigned camera setup.

Alleged Galaxy M30s case renders have surfaced on Twitter showing the complete back panel. Encased in a clear cover, the upcoming Samsung device is seen sporting a triple-camera setup at the back. But what catches the eye is the change in the design of the camera module.

Unlike the Galaxy M30, this upcoming device is likely to sport a wider module with the LED flash on the right of the lenses. As per previous leaks, the Galaxy M30s will boast a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor. This will likely be accompanied by an ultra wide-angle lens and a depth sensor.

Apart from the camera, the Galaxy M30s is also likely to come with battery and chipset upgrades. A recent report claimed, “Samsung has gone for industry-leading battery capacity for the new smartphone. Galaxy M30s will also support fast charging.” This is likely to be a hint towards a 6,000mAh battery capacity, which would make it bigger than the 5,000mAh unit on the Galaxy M30.

Under the hood will be an Exynos 9610 SoC, which is also the one powering the Galaxy A50. This chipset comes with four A73 cores instead of two and a superior GPU. Similar to Galaxy M30, the upcoming smartphone too is rumored to come in two storage variants – 64GB+4GB RAM, and 128GB+6GB RAM.

The Galaxy M30s will launch first in India sometime next month. As per reports, the device will cost between Rs 14,000-21,500. As we inch closer to the official launch, stay tuned for the latest leaks and updates.
