Default Spellchecked: Hurman is back to Harman

The numerology did not work - or maybe it was never given a chance. Three weeks before his next release, Hurman S Baweja has returned to being Harman Baweja.

In December, we reported that the actor had changed his spelling to the slightly weird looking Hurman S Baweja. Now we have an SMS from the star where he's gone back to his old spelling: the more normal looking Harman Baweja.

He's also removed the S, which stood for Singh (Harman is a Sikh), that he included in his old-new name - as opposed to his new-new name, which actually is his old name.

So what happened?

Only a few days ago Harman announced that he was changing his name for his new film Victory. The movie's director Ajit Pal, also decided to change his name to make it Ajitpal Mangat. Their decision came in hope that Harman's debut disaster Love Story 2050 would not be repeated for Victory. However numerologists we spoke to scratched their head and said the new spelling made no sense to them. And so, perhaps after reading our report, Harman has reverted to, as we Indians say, his good name.

Harman plays Vijay, a cricketer from Jaisalmer in Victory, which also stars Amrita Rao and Anupam Kher.
