Hera-Pheri duo Akshay and Suniel Shetty may have a long list of successful movies together, but it has never been a secret that the actors have hardly got along off-screen.
Their relationship did seem to thaw after the
Hera Pheri sequel, both have remained cordial thereafter, and will now be seen together in
De Dana Dan. However Suniel maintains that working with Akki is a nightmare!
Shetty admits that though Akshay's energy can be uplifting, it can be equally irksome when the latter pulls his pranks - whether its antics to cause Suniel to forget his lines or sneaking the crew members' cell phones to send random texts. So much that the cast and crew wary and aware of his notorious gimmicks have made habit of keeping their belongings safely out of Mr. Khiladi's reach! Not that it contains the prankster in Akshay forever.
Whatever the reason behind their 'rivalry' (as insisted by friends) we hope that both actors keep making us smile on screen and stay at least amicable off-screen. After all, B-Town already has it's share of cold wars.
