The format of the series is that of a comedy show created with candid cameras, playing silly pranks on unsuspecting subjects capturing people’s reactions.
Contestants, Participants, Celebs:
 - This bizarre platform brings together eight celebrities namely Gulshan Grover, Mahesh Manjrekar, Divya Dutta, Rakhi Sawant, Mandira Bedi, Mona Singh, Yash Tonk and Shweta Keswani who share STAR Plus’s desire to make its audiences roll with laughter. Stringing their laugh riots in a sequence is the talented actor Kavita Kaushik as the anchor.
- These eight celebrities will hoodwink common people, family and friends through the use of disguise at pre-decided locations. The disguise is not just in terms of costumes and make-up but also the overall acting ability, mannerisms and their accents. The fun and humor of these gags will be compounded by the in- studio element of stand-up comedy.

 - Kavita Kaushik (who's going to anchor Arre Deewano...) hosted an event at a suburban five-star hotel signaling the arrival of the show. She looked absolutely gorgeous in her blue dress. Kavita's suave presence was complimented by a live animated character called, Gadhashri (donkey) who kept everyone entertained with his PJs. "This show has eight renowned celebrities disguising themselves and playing pranks on the unsuspecting public. But here comes the twist, there's no elimination so there's no drama and definitely no rona dhona that we see on other reality TV shows", said a vibrant
- Contrastingly, Mandira with her contagious energy explained how ecstatic she was being a part of this show. She said, "I can't sing, I can't dance but I can definitely play pranks on people." Talking about Gadhashri (the animated donkey) she said, "While shooting I fell in love with Gadhashri and while watching the show I'm sure you guys will fall in love with him too."
- Even Yash Tonk spoke to the media saying, "I've done quite a few serials and played a few comic roles in movies as well, but by far this was the most challenging piece of work I've done till now because I had no clue how people were going to react."
- Divya Dutta also had a spectacular entry. The Veer Zaara actress gave us a small dose of her talent as she came disguised as a Punjabi reporter, conning everyone sitting there with her accent and mannerisms.
- But the most awaited entry was that of Rakhi Sawant. A few months ago she created quite a stir when she accused Star TV of tampering with the votes when she lost in Nach Baliye. So it was a bit of a surprise when Rakhi was revealed as a participant. But Rakhi was quick to clarify saying, "I want to apologise to Star for whatever happened at that time. Time is the best healer and all of us have moved on." To prove this she even sang Chodo Kal Ki Baate. No wonder they say there is never a dull moment when this woman takes center stage. Rakhi who was wearing a sizzling red dress, then went on to say, "I have danced in reality shows, hosted them but never had the chance to act in one. So this is my best opportunity to showcase my acting prowess."
Judges, Eliminations:
- A live animated character, Ghadhashri, will more than make up for judges’ reactions. This unique animated character is a donkey that carefully scrutinizes each gag and gives his expert comments, making it a hilarious treat to watch. Each week, renowned names from the entertainment industry will give Ghadhashri’s company and watch the antics of our disguised celebrity contestants.
- There will be no eliminations in this show, resulting in it being free of hackneyed dialoguebaazi, walkouts, back-biting and stress. Every week, one celebrity will win the title of “Master of Disguise” which will be decided by the voting done among all the eight contestants. There will also be no judges.
