Actress Sonam Kapoor gave us boyfriend jackets, layered vests, dresses, gowns, high-waisted pants, the occasional sarees, fabulous hair dos, statement jewellery and then Aisha, which was India's first high fashion (with a little bit of high street thrown in) extravaganza. We love her elegance, confidence, edginess and most of all for demonstrating how to be ***y without showing cleavage or midriff or even legs all the time. Frieda Pinto
She went from relative obscurity to red carpet appearances at the most elite film award ceremonies and bagged front row invites to the most coveted fashion shows. Through it all, the "Slumdog Millionaire" actress managed to remain unfazed. The foreign press made no special allowances for her and she didn't need it.

SJP and Carrie Bradshaw was a match made in heaven. Parker was on her signature fabulous roll on the SATC3 promo tour. She paid tribute to the late Alexander Mcqueen by donning some of this gorgeous creations all throughout the year. Away from the red carpet she continues being the queen of street/sidewalk chic.

This year marked the return of JLo. She was amazing and had a near perfect red carpet roll. She was ***y and feisty, without the pouting overdose. She had a near perfect roll while promoting Backup Plan. JLo proved that she can look stunning even outside of a high drama, red carpet gown. The woman didn't do anything wrong this year.

The Chinese actress took our breath away at Cannes 2010. And since then there has been one stellar appearance after other. She is a porcelain goddess with an outstanding sense of fashion. She and the phenomenally gifted Elie Saab make a terrific duo.

Diane Kruger has never been seen having a less than wow fashion moment. Even when holidaying in Rome wearing high street brands and flats. With that jawline, those stunning cheekbones and the perfect size 4 body she is any designer's dream. Dior, Calvin Klein and Chanel are her preferred designers.

Leighton Meester
The actress who brilliantly brings alive the uber fashionable Blair Waldorf on screen also keeps it very very interesting off screen as well. She is not the one to shy away from taking risks and many time has departed from the conventional with stunning results. Her clothes are bold, unique and at times even androgynous but always well coordinated. Her choice of footwear and accessories are spot on.
