Veterans sign Janam Daata
 A cast of 43 actors is bound to have familiar faces. The latest news coming from Janam Daata is that actors Rajesh Shringarpure, Pallavi Subhash, Hrishikesh Pandey and Saahil Chadha have signed the show. Supriya Pilgaonkar, who earlier had admitted to receiving the offer, has also got on board Janam Daata. Informs a source, “The cast is more or less finalised. Rajesh Shringarpure and Supriya Pilgaonkar play one of the older couples. Interestingly, Pallavi Subhash is playing mother to Vivek Madan. Ram Kapoor is her husband. Hrishikesh Pandey, Neelu Kohli and Saahil Chadha form the Muslim family. Neelu and Saahil play Hrishikesh’s parents. The concept of the show is similar to the film Baghbaan. Interestingly, Chadha played one of the three sons of Amitbah Bachchan in the film while here he’s playing a father.” Adding further, the source says, “The shoot is expected to commence soon. The show will probably launch on 17 August. The time slot will either be 9.30 or 10.30 pm.” We tried contacting Pallavi Subhash and Supriya Pilgaonkar and event sent them a text message but they didn’t reply. Hrishikesh refused to comment while Rajesh Shringarpure, Saahil Chadha remained unavailable for comment.
