Ten immortal style icons of B'wood
Gamchas and hotpants may come and go but these stars redefined fashion forever!
Dev Anand Had it not been for his autobiography, many of us would have always believed that there was a high court ruling against Dev Anand wearing black! And why not, the immensely dashing star of the 60s (70s, 80s, 90s… whew) does have that charisma even after so many years. He may not wear black as often these days. But his scarves and trademark style remains! |

Jeetendra If Elvis Presley had his Blue Suede Shoes, our very own Jeetendra had a pair of white one... and it seems he had them for almost every occasion. Better known by this generation as Ekta Kapoor's father, we'd probably remember Jeetendra for all his dances with a decked-up Sridevi. But please Jeetuji tell us how you managed to keep your white footwear spotlessly clean all these years! |

Amitabh Bachchan">Amitabh Bachchan No one carried off a bellbottom as Amitabh Bachchan">Amitabh Bachchan did. During his heydays, much before he became Aby Baby and Big B, Amitabh Bachchan">Amitabh Bachchan walked, sang, danced and fought in a pair of those bellbottom trousers that suddenly have disappeared from the shop windows. But just when you thought he was no longer a fashion icon, he returns to KBC with a white French cut beard and jet black hair, making it perhaps the hottest look of the decade. |

Bappi Lahiri You can probably call Bappi Laihiri the golden boy of the Indian music industry. The roly-poly musician best known for lifting tunes from the West sure had an original style statement. The golden chains and rings became his trademark look and even decade later, they continue to amaze this generation. |

Feroz Khan To reiterate the much-abused phrase Feroz Khan was Bollywood's Original Cowboy. The image of Khan who blew up a Mercedes, made a style statement out of stallions and racing cars continues to linger in our minds even after he's gone. Legends, as they say, never die. And Feroz Khan was probably more than just a legend. |
