Default ‘Prime’ change on Imagine

NDTV Imagine has finally given the green signal to few of its upcoming daily shows. Sphere Origins’ Jyoti, Siddhant Cinevision’s Dehleez and Bohra Brothers’ Seeta aur Geeta are set to launch soon. These shows mark the end for Main Teri Parchhain Hoon, Radhaa Ki Betiyann Kuch Kar Dikhayengi and Chand Ke Paar Chalo respectively.

As per reliable sources, NDTV Imagine’s prime time (daily) slot will now look like this – Seeta aur Geeta at 8.00 pm, followed by Jyoti and Dehleez. Jay Mehta’s Bali Umar Ko Salaam has been delayed further and in probability launch in early March. It will air at 7.30 pm.

Bali Umar Ko Salaam’s producer Jay Mehta though claims that he still hasn’t got the time slot and things will clear in week or two.

Meanwhile, Bhuvnesh, lead actor of Dehleez, confirmed to us that their show was indeed going to launch on 16 February and will replace Radhaa Ki Betiyaan. An actor from Jyoti echoed the same about their show.

Seeta Aur Geeta’s producer Sunil Bohra still claimed that he was unaware of his show’s timing or the launch date. Tangerine Digital Entertainment Pvt Ltd GM Sohail Zaidi, who produce Chaand Ke Paar Chalo, admitted that their show was coming to an end on 12 February. That only means that Seeta Aur Geeta will air from next week in that slot.

Imagine is yet to challenge the likes of Star Plus, Colors and Zee. In fact, the channel has been facing stiff competition from Sony and Star One. They surely will be banking on these new shows to up their GRPs.
