Balika Vadhu has not been fetching the desired numbers for the past few weeks despite bringing in a new character, Teepri. However now, the makers have decided to bring in a new twist in the tale by introducing a new character in the forthcoming episodes.
A source from the show says, “Navika Kotian, a 10-year-old has been short listed to play Teepri’s daughter. We have been auditioning for this character for the past week. Navika gave a look test and has signed the papers. She is expected to start shooting in a day or two and by this weekend her character will be on air. Her character will be shown studying in a neighbouring village and happens to meet few of the family members during a competition. We are still to finalise the name of this character.”
