What is Mahi afraid of?

The unit of Sahara One’s supernatural show Kaisi Laagi Lagan was to shoot a very crucial portion – the Haveli (palace) sequence. To shoot this crucial sequence the entire unit of KLL went to the old palace in Rajpipla near Gujarat. The haveli is now converted into a hotel but it still retains the eerie feel to it especially at night because it’s located on a deserted stretch of land and has long corridors, high ceilings and huge rooms. In some of the rooms people have to walk quiet a distance to reach the bathroom. Since a unit of 30 people was shooting for four days in the palace there were no other guests in the hotel hence the 21 room palace was very spooky.

Mahi Vij, who plays Pratha in the show, refused to stay alone in the room at night. Mahi had experienced eerie things quite a few times. Her things would go missing from where she kept it and then she would recover them from the same place after hours. Mahi says that she was so scared to live in the palace that she called her mom next day and still ended up spending four sleepless nights.




Some other unit members also complained of strange incidents like suddenly it used to get very hot in the night and in the next few minutes they would be shivering with cold. To top it all there was power supply problem and sudden power cuts would run a chill down everybody’s spine and they would huddle in groups and spend their night. Mahi was so taken aback by the set of incidents that happened with her that the moment she came back to Mumbai she fell sick.
