my company wants to configure appraisal in SAP for all employees. we have the following categories in employees
1.workers
2.officers
3.Senior officers
4.executives
5.senior executives
6.managers
7.senior managers
8.deputy general managers
9.general managers
10.senior general managers
11.vice president
12.director

we will not implement the ESS or MSS

and all employees does NOT have a SAP login.

under the circumstances can we configure the system ?

we would like to have separate colums for self, immediate superior appraisal and department head appraisal for each of the above categories of employees...

Yes can configure, but the maintainance should be done by HR only in such case.

This way of HR updating will increase 1000 times, as they have to do for each n every employee, there is no fast entry even.

But, once data available in system, we can have all reports and necessary information.

There is a standard role for Admin, PHAP_ADMIN...

You can create different Templates for different employee groups on system in phap_catalog_pa and select roles as self, immediate supervisor and head.

Since you are not implementing ESS and employee don't ve SAP log in ID
All employees or the immediate supervisor can set the objectives offline and upload the data on SAP R/3. once the appraisal process starts the process has to be done offline and uploaded to SAP.

By doing this you can keep track on appraisal process.....

one more query: can we also configure workflows in this scenario?

what i mean to say is:

if a certain person's immediate superior appraisal is pending then both the immediate superior and the department head will get a reminder on their email.

For this you need to update the appraisal document when self appraisal document is uploaded and change the stauts. This will be a tedious process i feel.
