Default Workflow / SAP HR Link

I have a question about the SAP HR/WF connection.

You can link WF to be able to go with the HR structures ( OM/PA). Those structures unfortunately does not carry amount information. Let's say I can only approve invoices upto 10K, and my manager can approve 100K. So, an invoice does not need to go all the way to my manager, if it's below my limit.

I have 2 questions

1 ) Is there any best practice to configure such a scenario? ( custom table for the amounts vs infotype customization or any other creative thoughts)

2 ) If I can achieve #1, here is another scenario: For different processes, I carry different amounts like for service procurement I can approve 10K, but for office equipment I can purchase only 1K. How can I implement such a scenario?

Its Planned compensation

IT1010 is authorities and resources.
