Commenting on the unique initiative, Mr. Anooj Kapoor, Business Head SAB said, “We have always believed in offering innovative and fresh content to our audience. Now we bring India’s first silent comedy. We hope to break new grounds with the launch of this show and provide our viewers with yet another reason to sit back with the family.”
We spoke to B.P.Singh, producer of the show and he said, “We are launching a show for the first time in the history of Indian television with no dialogues. The show will be a silent comedy. Its going to be a family oriented show which all age groups can watch.”
The show is tentatively titled Sab Chup Raho and is India’s first silent comedy on television. The show is set to launch in the end of January for a Friday evening slot.
The cast of the show includes Sunil Grover, Sheetal Maulik, Bhavna Balsavar and K .K. Goswami.
So get ready for a completely different comic experience soon to go on air on India’s only family comedy entertainment channel SAB.
