The third season of the Indian Premier League had moments that cricket fans will cherish for a very long time. Players played hard and partied harder. Tough competitive cricket on the ground and great camaraderie off it showed that the Indian Premier League was much more than just a cricket tournament.
Some great knocks were played, some fiery spells were bowled and some scintillating catches were taken. As the Cricket Carnival comes to its end with Chennai Super Kings crowned as the new champions, here is a compilation of some of the best on and off-field moments of the Season 3.  After making it to the semi-finals trice in the three seasons and reaching finals twice, Ms Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings finally lifted the IPL Trophy in 2010. (Getty Images)
