 Sidhartha Mallya The generation next of Indian Premier League are sons or daughters of some of the most prominent IPL owners. They bear the names of their illustrious parents and shoulder some of their responsibilities as they come of their own in the rapidly-evolving world of sporting entertainment that includes big money. Sidhartha Mallya is the son of UB Group chairman Vijay Mallya. Junior Mallya is also the director of the Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL team. Sidhartha, who was present at the IPL auctions this year, is slowly making his presence felt as the successor to one of the biggest corporate houses in India.

 Gaurav Burman Gaurav Burman is the brother of Mohit Burman of Dabur Group, and a co-owner of the Kings XI Punjab IPL team. Gaurav is a director in Elephant Capital Invests, a company which owns equity in an online media and broadcast firm that has cricket-related digital rights. Gaurav is also the stepson-in-law of former IPL boss Lalit Modi.

 Gayatri Reddy Gayatri Reddy was a constant presence during the IPL auctions this year, bidding for players and assisting members of her team in raising the bids of potential buys. Gayatri is the owner of the IPL franchisee Deccan Chargers. She is also the daughter of media baron T Venkattaram Reddy.

 Mohit Burman Mohit Burman (R) is the son of Vivek and Monica Burman, owners of Dabur India Limited. Mohit graduated from Richmond College London, with a Bachelor of Arts, Business Administration and Economics degree. Mohit is a co-owner of the Mohali IPL franchise.
