Default Dance Premier League becomes biweekly

Sony television is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the success of their upcoming reality show Dance Premier League. The show was earlier said to air at 8pm which was the time slot for Rani Padmini, which is off air now.

But now the makers have planned to replace the long running dance show Boogie Woogie with DPL. In addition the show will be a biweekly.

Boogie Woogie is going in for a seasonal break of three months and DPL will take that time slot. The producers of the show felt that if the show will be biweekly, it will attract more viewers.

Ajit Thakur, Business Head of Sony confirms, “Yes, Dance Premier League will replace Boogie Woogie, as the show is going in for a seasonal break. It will return after three months.”

Dance Premier League will see many big and popular faces of Bollywood like Kareena Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Salman Khan, Prabhu Deva and others. Madhuri Dixit and Shiamak Davar are the judges of the show. The show will come on air from 9 October.
