Shows that need to end
Viewers often have to suffer the trauma of watching shows drag on endlessly.
Here are some shows Wiki thinks need to say their final goodbyes: Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna: It replaced hit show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki last year. The show’s love story seemed interesting, but it lacked good actors. As TRP ratings were low, the show was shifted to an afternoon slot, but it didn’t do well there either, even after the story took a leap. |

Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari: The show started off with the theme of promoting the birth of girls, but after the lead character Chandani grew up, the story looks like a copy of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. It has become monotonous to see the same, old love story. |

Seeta Aur Geeta: This is a remake of the super-hit film of the same name, but it’s hard to see any other actress play the parts that Hema Malini brought her own charm to. The makers of the show tried to make it contemporary, but their efforts have largely failed. |

Jeevan Satthi: From day one, the show reminded us of the love saga, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The show is set against a Gujarati background. The big twist was when the lead character, Viraj, married a mute and becomes mentally ill after losing the love of her life. The story feels unnecessarily stretched and has unwanted characters. |

Hasne Hasane Ka Tonic Ladies Special: This is the first comedy show on TV for women, but we have had enough of stand-up comedy shows. Moreover, how is that a pop singer, Baba Sehgal, is judging a comedy show with the likes of veteran Tabbasum. The show seems scripted and has poor presentation, may be it should be moved to a different time slot. |
