It’s been barely two months since it was launched but Anubhav Sinha’s Mr. & Mrs. Mishra is struggling to survive. Low TRPs has now resulted in the channel trimming this daily into a biweekly show.
Mr. & Mrs Mishra will now air every Saturday and Sunday at 8.00 pm.
“
Mr. & Mrs. Mishra has struggled to compete against top shows like
Balika Vadhu at the 8.00 pm slot. The average rating has been a poor 0.2 TVR. So the channel has now decided to turn it into a biweekly show. This will probably happen from next week,” said a source.
When contacted, lead actor Raahil Azam said, “Well, I’ve been hearing about this since the past one month but so far there hasn’t been any official communication to us. There has been no shift in our schedule. We’re still shooting daily. If it happens then so be it.”
Requesting anonymity, a production official says, “As of now we’ll be winding shoot for the current schedule thus the unit will get a couple of days break. We’ll then work out what’s to be done next. At this moment, it is better you speak to the channel.”
