India Team in EPL (English Premier League)
 Venkys set to takeover Blackburn Rovers English Premier League club Blackburn Rovers will soon be in Indian hands. Pune-based Venkateshwara Hatcheries have been in discussions with the Lancashire-based club and both parties are hoping to complete the sale of the club by the end of next month.  Sahara Group and Liverpool Subrata Roy, owner of the Sahara Group, came close to buy Liverpool early in August only to back out at the last moment. Roy was mulling on buying out a stake in Liverpool which was said to be about a 100 million Pound investment.

 Saurin Shah and Blackburn Rovers Before Venky, Indian businessman Saurin Shah had set his sights on the Blackburn Rovers. Saurin, who is the nephew of Indian Premier League (IPL) vice-chairman Niranjan Shah, was reported to be in talks for a deal worth between 35-45 million pounds.
