Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia  Femina Miss India Manipur 2018 fame Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, who rose to fame with Choti Sardarni, is a part of Bigg Boss 16. The actress quit the daily soap earlier this year owing to health issues. She told BT, "I feel the medium we are a part of requires a certain kind of commitment. I have faced different situations, constantly pushed myself and given more than 100 per cent while shooting. But sometimes in life, it becomes important to choose yourself and your well-being. I have spent three years on the set and I wish I could have continued, but that wouldn’t have been fair to myself. I needed to take time off." The actress, who started her career on television with Sister Nivedita in 1996, is quite popular on social media where she posts some of her most glamorous photos. Besides Uttaran, some of the other popular shows that Tina has done include Karmaphal Daata Shani, Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Daayan. The actor, who boasts of a huge social media fan following, has done shows like Sadda Haq, Balika Vadhu, Begusarai and Mayavi Maling. It was Udaariyan that made him a household name. Their jodi was adored by the audience but a leap in the daily soap forced the two actors to leave the show in August this year. Beside Imlie, Sumbul has done popular TV shows like Jodha Akbar, Waaris and Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein among others. Gori Nagori  Just like Sapna Choudhary, who was seen in Bigg Boss 11, Gori Nagori is a dancer. She rose to fame after the popularity of her Rajasthani song 'Le Photo Le'. She rose to fame with her performance in the role of Iccha in her show Uttaran. She has also appeared on many seasons of the show as a guest so far.  Sumbul found her claim to fame with her performance in the TV show Imlie. However, recently, she quit the show as the story went ahead. Now, she has reportedly confirmed her participation in the reality show.  Actor Kanika Mann, of Zee TV show fame Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, is going to be one of the contestants on the show. She has also acted in Punjabi movies like Rocky Mental and Daana Paani among others.  Femina Miss India 2020 runner-up Manya Singh is one of the confirmed contestants in this season of Bigg Boss 16. She is known for her inspiring journey and struggles.  Another rumoured participant this season is Prakruti Mishra who is known for her performances in Odia films and Hindi Television. She is 27-year-old and enjoys a good fan following in the Odia film industry.  Siya Ke Ram actress Madirakshi Mundle is another participant in this season of Bigg Boss. She has acted in Telugu films and many other mythological shows.  Surbhi Jyoti is one of the most loved TV actresses in the country. Her participation this year has brought more excitement among the audience and she could very well be one of the strongest contenders for the trophy. Reportedly, discussions have taken place between Raj and the makers of the show though the former is still contemplating if he should join the show. A source quoted by ANI said, "They feel the real side and the truth needs to be shown in front of the country." Raj was arrested in July 2021 for allegedly producing ****ographic videos and was granted bail in September. Nusrat Jahan  TMC MP Nusrat Jahan is expected to be one of the participants in the show. Nusrat already has movie offers, ad commercials, political commitments and other projects in her kitty. She knows how to maintain a balance between her professional and personal life. A close source to the actress shared, "Nisha is a talented singer in Bhojpuri industry and she will add the entertainment factor in the show. She has cleared her rounds of meetings virtually and finally the makers have invited her for a one-to-one meeting from Bihar to Mumbai.
