The lockdown has brought Bollywood to a pause is now laying its wrath on Salman Khan starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. While it was expected to be an Eid 2020 release, the g****vine now has that the film won’t make it to Eid and below are all the details you should know about the same.

Recently there were reports that Salman Khan has started the editing of Radhe from his home and wanted to meet the deadline. But seems like the lockdown has some other plans as Radhe might not be releasing on Eid. If reports now are to be believed, there is a lot of work to be done yet, including a complete overseas schedule, patchwork, VFX and many more things.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, a source close to the development said, “The shoot was supposed to get over earlier. But the Thailand schedule had to be cancelled, again due to the Coronavirus scare. It was then shifted to Mumbai. Finally, only 8-10 days of shoot remained. This included patchwork and a song featuring the lead actors Salman Khan and Disha Patani. The target was to wrap up the filming by month-end. The unit was strictly following all safety guidelines and using sanitizers. Sadly, a decision was taken on March 16 that no film shoot shall take place from March 19. Then, on March 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered a lockdown until April 14. As a result, things went for a toss.”

The source revealed how the VFX and post-production of the already shot footage have also come to a standstill as all the VFX studios are shut due to the lockdown.

He further informs that even if the lockdown is lifted on April 14, it will be a task for the team to finish the project in less than 40 days so they will have to give up the date with a heavy heart.

Talking about the release, a trade source in the same report said, “Films like Sooryavanshi and ’83 were to release on March 24 and April 10 respectively. So most probably these films will release first and only then Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai will arrive in theatres.”

Starring Salman and Disha Patani, the film is directed by Prabhudheva.
