Kardashian files for divorce from Kanye West


Reality television personality Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from husband of seven years Kanye West in the early February this year. It was during the later half of 2020 that Kim and Kanye's marriage hit rock bottom. It was after Kanye West's Presidential campaign and an event where he spoke about Kim's decision of terminating their first child, she came forward and alleged that Kanye has bipolar disorder, and is mentally unstable. Reports suggested that Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star has asked for joint legal and physical custody of their 4 children - North, Psalm, Chicago and Saint West and Kanye has agreed to the negotiations. Currently, Kim’s dating life is in news. The reality TV star is rumoured to be dating American comedian Pete Davidson. On the professional front, Kim recently passed the baby bar exam and is on her way to becoming a lawyer.

'*** and the City' actor Chris Noth accused of ***ual assault


Four women have come forward to accuse '*** and the City' actor Chris Noth of ***ual assault. However, the actor has denied the allegation calling it "bad fiction". As per a magazine, a woman who wished to remain anonymous but used the pseudonym, Ava told that the 67-year-old actor had ***ually assaulted her while working at a New York City restaurant in 2010. According to the outlet, she was 18 year-old at the time of the ***ual assault. However, the veteran star has denied the woman's account. Chris Noth is known for playing the role of Mr. Big and these accusations have appeared after the premiere of SATC reboot on the digital platform.

Nick Jonas’ bike accident


In May, Nick Jonas, who has been serving as a coach on "The Voice" for two non consecutive seasons, reportedly injured himself while on set of the singing competition series. The 28-year-old singer revealed he cracked a rib over the weekend in a biking accident and is "doing all right". He was hospitalised for a brief period.

News of American reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian and musician Travis Barker officially dating came to light early this year. The couple announced their engagement after eight months of dating. Travis proposed to Kourtney in California and it was a dreamy one. The couple shared romantic pictures from the proposal confirming the engagement.

'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' wrap up


The hugely popular reality show that features the Kardashians and Jenners wrapped up in March. The 20th and the final season of popular reality series "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" premiered on March 18. "We just wanted to tell you in person that we won't be going forward with filming the show anymore," an emotional Kris Jenner told the production crew in the teaser posted on the network's official Instagram page. Kardashian-Jenner family announced their franchise would be coming to an end last year in September.

US talk host giant Ellen DeGeneres wraps up her show


Ellen DeGeneres, a staple of daytime American talk show culture, said she is ending her show after 19 seasons. The decision came amid slumping ratings following allegations by former and current staffers that "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" has been a toxic place to work. The 63-year-old host, writer, producer, actress and comedian won dozens of Emmy awards for the show and has been a pioneer of the LGBTQ community in America since she came out as gay in 1997. The final episode is scheduled for the spring of 2022.

Tarzan actor Joe Lara dies in US plane crash


All seven passengers aboard a plane, including Tarzan actor Joe Lara and his diet guru wife, passed away after it crashed in a lake near the US city of Nashville in May. Lara played Tarzan in the 1989 television movie "Tarzan in Manhattan." He later starred in the television series "Tarzan: The Epic Adventures," which ran from 1996-1997.

Indian origin Justin Narayan and Depinder Chhibber’s impressive cooking s****s in Masterchef Australia 13


Indian origin contestant Depinder Chhibber won hearts presenting one delectable dish after the other in Masterchef Australia S13. A self-confessed home cook, Depinder exclusively spoke to ETimes TV and took us through her Masterchef journey, shared her culinary experience and also where she went wrong in the elimination task. She got eliminated in the eighth position. Justin Narayan, who is of Fijian and Indian heritage lifted the trophy.

Kylie Jenner’s second pregnancy


Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kylie Jenner confirmed rumours of her expecting a second child with Travis Scott in September. The 24-year old model and businesswoman shared a heartwarming video of the special moments compiled right from the news being confirmed through a pregnancy test kit to Kylie's ultrasound sessions with the doctor. Kylie and Travis Scott had parted ways in October 2019 but are again together and are committed to co-parenting their children.

Actor Willie Garson, best known for popular TV series *** and the City and White Collar, has passed away at the age of 57 in September. Garson died after a battle with cancer. Sarah Jessica Parker along with other SATC actors mourned his demise. On the other hand, James Michael Tyler, who played the role of Gunther passed away in October. Tyler, 59, died at his home in Los Angeles after battling prostate cancer that he was first diagnosed with in 2018, according to a representative. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow paid tribute to the late actor.
