• Mimi Dutta plays a meaty role in web series ‘Indu 2’, Sahana Dutta is ready to take the audience on a roller coaster journey with the second season of ‘Indu’. While the web series will feature actress Ishaa Saha in the titular role, the project has a star cast that looks promising. Actors Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Payel De, Manali Manisha Dey will play prominent roles in the show. Besides them, the makers have also roped in actress Mimi Dutta for a pivotal role. She will essay Poushali’s character, who is protagonist Indu’s sister-in-law. Poushali is a woman whose life revolves around her family but she doesn’t really like Indu. Since the very moment Indu steps into her in-laws’ place, she faces a lot of hurdles and Poushali’s constant opposition adds to her dismay. Mimi, who is mostly seen playing girl next door and adarsh bahu, will certainly surprise as Poushali whose character has interesting shades.

Rishi and Payel’s reel chemistry was the USP of the show besides having a stellar star cast. Story:

• In its first season, ‘Indu’ narrated the story of a young girl named Indrani who gets married to a rich household. The story was initially weaved at the backdrop of Indrani-Sougata’s wedding and eventually progresses with their journey as a newlywed couple.
• Ever since the wedding rituals started, mysterious incidents have taken place, which leads bride Indrani to become suspicious of several things including the fact that someone isn’t happy with her entry into the household. While delving deep into the matter, Indrani finds out some twisted tales and family secrets too.
• While the first season managed to impress the audience with its drama and suspense, it will be interesting to see whether the second season enjoys equal popularity among the audience.
