Default April Supermoon 2020: How to watch the rare phenomenon live on your phone

The April Supermoon is scheduled to be visible on April 8, 2020. It is said to be the biggest and brightest appearance of the moon this year. In case you aren’t aware, the supermoon term is given to the full moon when it is the closest to the Earth. This makes the moon appear much brighter and bigger than usual.

The April Supermoon, also known as the Pink Moon or the Super Pink Moon is a beautiful phenomenon to look at. However, if you’re planning on observing the site from India or an Asian country, here is some bad news. The April Supermoon will reach its peak brightness and size on April 8:05 AM IST. This means that by the time the moon is at its most beautiful, it will already be broad daylight. However, interested users can still live stream the beautiful April Supermoon 2020 in all its glory. Here is how you can do that at home.

Step 1: Open up the YouTube App. If you’re on a desktop or tablet, you could live stream the moon on the YouTube website as well.

Step 2: Look for the channel ‘Slooh’. Among their latest videos should be the live streaming link of the April Supermoon. Select that link.

Step 3: Check out the April Supermoon live through the video. Go fullscreen, or cast it on a bigger screen to enhance the beauty of this majestic phenomenon.
