• New Year is around and there are going to be some lavish celebrations on Telugu television. A New Year special show titled ‘Daawath’ on December 26.

• Ace comedian and Television personality Brahmanandam is the main guest of the evening. The latest teasers of the show has Brahmanandam at his entertaining best yet again.

Performances:

• The mega special new year show promises a platter of some special appearances, stellar sketches and performances by celebrities.
  
• Popular TV personality Nagababu and wife Padmaja along with Ali and his wife Zubeda grace the show as the one of the special guests.
  
• Interestingly, this is the first time Padmaja and Zubeda will be seen on a special TV show. Close sources reveal that they have revealed some interesting tidbits about their respective celebrity husbands. Popular comedian-TV host Ali will also surprise with his singing talent as he croons along with playback singer and reality TV star Revanth. Ali dedicates his special performance to wife Zubeda.
• Adding to the excitement, a special dance tribute to Brahmanandam and Ali will leave viewers mesmerized, sources suggest.
• Young actors Niharika Konidela, Vishwak Sen and celeb couple Varun–Vithika of Bigg Boss Telugu 3 fame will also be a part of the New Year's special show. Interestingly, Niharika will also deliver a special surprise in the special show.
• It remains to be seen how Daawath will fare on the TRP charts.
