The makers are now bringing some changes in the storyline after the unfortunate loss. According to sources, Mon Mane Na’s storyline will progress with a new track revolving around Boroma and male protagonist Rudra. Prior to the sudden demise of the actress, ‘Mon Mane Na’ was scheduled to feature a twist that reveals male protagonist Rudra is Boroma’s biological son and the relevant documents are found by Gouri. But now, there will be some changes. Sources suggest the show will feature Gouri’s demise, followed by a huge change in Rudra’s life. Along with the improvement in Boroma-Rudra’s relationship which wasn’t going smoothly, the latter will focus on the well-being of the residents of Akandapur. Rudra, as an active politician, will work for the common people and fulfil all the dreams of Gouri.
• ‘Mon Mane Na’, the remake of the popular Marathi show Jeev Zala Yeda Pisa, features Samm Bhattacharya as Rudra and actress Anjana Basu as Boroma. Weaved at the backdrop of the political environment in Akandapur, Bengali TV show ‘Mon Mane Na’ narrates Rudra-Gouri's love. While protagonists are keen to start a new chapter of life far away from the shadow of greed, power, and corruption, Boroma’s presence keeps creating ripples in their otherwise simple life.

Story:

Sources also suggest that Neel Bhattacharya’s name is on the top of the list as the male lead.
