Hina Khan, Aditya Narayan, Devoleena To Come Together To Remember Legendary Actors Rishi Kapoor-Irrfan Khan

Last week turned out to be a dark one for the Indian Cinema as two iconic actors, Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, consecutively left for the heavenly abode. Their passing left a void in the hearts of their fans and loved ones that cannot be filled. They both epitomized brilliant talent and acting styles while making us laugh, cry, and rejoice with their films. Saluting the greatest men of the industry, COLORS is set to air a special musical concert - Dard- e- Dil : A musical tribute to Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at 12 noon and 5 pm. It will have popular artists from the fraternity uniting to celebrate the lives and achievements of the superstars.

While the artists will perform from the confines of their home, they will come together in spirit to pay homage to the stalwarts. The concert will feature a bevy of celebrities including comedian Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbacchiya anchor Maniesh Paul, singers Sukhwinder Singh, Aditya Narayan, Abu Malik, television actors Hina Khan and Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Arjun Bijlani and Rising Star contestants. Taking a trip down the memory lane, the artists will share their nostalgia-filled eulogies along with performing soulful renditions of late Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan’s including songs like Suit Suit Karda, Masoom from Madari, Teri Umeed Tera Intezaar, Om Shaanti Om etc.

Manisha Sharma, Chief Content Officer, Hindi Mass Entertainment, Viacom18 said, “We lost two of Bollywood’s gems- Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan last week who brightened up our lives and entertained us until their last breath. Owing to the lockdown, the fans could not give a befitting farewell to their favorite stars and we wish to give them an opportunity through our special episode - A Tribute to the Legends. They left an everlasting impression on our minds with their films and songs and that’s how we wish to remember them – through art and music.”

Here's a video that Justin Bieber knew would get attention: Carole Baskin, in a big cat outfit, dancing with her cat and husband to Bieber's song with Ariana Grande. That is a clip that Bieber tweeted out Thursday night, hours ahead of the premiere of his and Grande's music video for their duet "Stuck With U." In the 13-second clip, controversial "Tiger King" personality Carole Baskin, the memeified Big Cat Rescue spokeswoman and rival of former zoo owner Joe Exotic, is seen swaying with her second husband, Howard Baskin. The video, which was retweeted by the Big Cat Rescue Twitter account, appears to be one of the many fan-shot videos made in response to Bieber and Grande's ask for fan videos to be included in their crowd-sourced music video.

However, the clip is NOT a part of Grande and Bieber's official music video. Grande made it known on Twitter that she "did not allow or approve" the "Tiger King" couple's inclusion in the final video, but "nonetheless," she said, the video of the Baskins "exists and that’s ..... unique." The debut of Bieber and Grande's "Stuck With U" premiered midnight on Thursday. Proceeds from the streams and sales of the song will be donated to First Responders Children's Foundation. Grande wrote on Instagram that this collaboration with Bieber "really means so much more than it ever could have if it had happened any other way or if it had been any other song ... my heart is seriously so full."

It took a lot of patience but I did hosting after a really long time, so for me it was a lot of fun because I was reliving those times.”



Talking about what is more challenging for him, hosting or judging, he said, “Basically between judging and hosting, challenges are very different. When I was hosting I always used to think that grass is greener on the other side. When I got into judging, I realised the responsibility to make a choice between singers. No matter how accurately you do it, to send a contest home is a terrible guilt that you go through. That is something that I never had to deal with as a host. But as a judge, I have had many sleepless nights. Coming home and feeling that maybe I was wrong, maybe she sang better, so judging has its own sets of challenges.”

‘Ek Desh Ek Raag’ will start with the Live-athon on 23rd May with a 25-hour Music Marathon on digital. The 25 Year milestone will culminate into a grand Ek Desh Ek Raag concert on 24th May, 7 PM onwards in 10 national languages across 19 ZEE channels with the most iconic faces of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa singing from the confines of their homes.

Bigg Boss 13 gave fans one of their all-time favourite couples from the show so far, that of Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana. While their journey started on the show, what has followed is a beautiful love story with fans being in complete awe of the two. While they have already worked together in three music videos, namely Kalla Sohna Nai, Khayaal Rakhya Kar, and Dil Ko Maine Di Kasam, it looks like there is more coming.

As per the latest reports, the duo is going to come together for yet another song which will be based on a love story, however, the details of the singer are not out yet, but it is being said that it is a popular one. The audiences have been showered with music videos from many Bigg Boss 13 contestants and while they continue to bring out more, it does often make us wonder if it becomes monotonous for the audiences and the actors. We got in touch with Paras Chhabra, whose recent music video with Mahira Sharma, Ring, created quite a buzz yet again.

Ask him if he thinks there is monotony, he says, ''I don't think music videos will become monotonous because I think if people like the music and the video is good, people are going to come back to it, so I don't think that we shouldn't do music videos. Also, a lot of people don't get work after Bigg Boss, and if we have been getting back to back work, the lot from Bigg Boss 13, so people are doing music videos. Because of the ongoing situation, we don't have ads, we have television shows but you have to like a script, films aren't being made as such right now, especially given the entire debate around nepotism.''

He further went on to highlight how this is the time to encash upon the work, irrespective of what the audiences think right now, for those who like the videos, will watch them anyway. He added, ''While there are TV serials, the cases in Mumbai are alarming, with even the actors getting the virus, and hence, we decided to come to Chandigarh to do videos and our Punjabi film. We have more music videos coming in as well and this is the time to encash because we have lost a lot of time due to Corona.''
