Ek do teen from Tezaab
With the peppy 'Ek Do Teen' in 'Tezaab', Madhuri became a star overnight. The energetic choreography in the song has a melange of classical and modern steps. And Madhuri executes it effortlessly. It is also one of choreographer Saroj Khan's best works in Hindi cinema.

Choli ke peeche from Khalnayak
Once again choreographed by Saroj Khan, this song stirred up several controversies. But that does not take away from the fact that Madhuri did an amazing job with it. The Bollywood actor was extremely graceful in this song and some of the steps that she did for it were simply ground-breaking.

Didi tera dewar deewana from Hum Aapke Hai Kaun
While it's been more than fifteen years since the movie 'Hum Aapke Hai Kaun' has come and gone, this song has remained an eternal wedding favourite. 'Didi Tera Dewar Deewana' sung by Lata Mangeshkar saw Madhuri dish out some interesting and unforgettable jhatkas that have become her trademark.

Dance of envy from Dil To Pagal Hai
Once again with this song, Madhuri Dixit put on her dancing shoes next to another dancing queen of Bollywood, this time Karisma Kapoor. Though it is often thought that Karisma outshone Madhuri in this clash of the titans, the latter proved yet again what a nimble-footed dancer she is.

Dhak Dhak from Beta
Cast opposite Anil Kapoor in 'Beta', Madhuri danced to this sizzling hot number with panache. A very scintillating performance, it was much talked about. Her coy smile and her dupatta fluttering in the breeze - all added to Madhuri's *** appeal in this dance number.

Maar dala from Devdas
One of the most remarkable aspects of this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film is Madhuri Dixit's exquisite dance performances. Choreographed once again by Saroj Khan, the Bollywood actor's rendition of 'Maar Dala' could give any professional dancer a run for his or her money. This performance most definitely is one of the best among all mujra dances in Hindi cinema.

Aaja Nachle from Aaja Nachle
The 2007 release 'Aaja Nachle' was Madhuri Dixit's return to Bollywood. While the film was a dud at the box office, Madhuri's performance especially in the title song was much appreciated. With her trademark dance steps, she undoubtedly showed the Bollywood brigade of younger actors that she was never too far from her favourite passions - dance and cinema.

'Mera piya ghar aaya' from 'Yaarana'
Time and again, the dhak dhak diva has shown she is equally comfortable gyrating in ethnic as well as contemporary ensembles. In 'Mera piya ghar aaya', Madhuri does the same and the song went on to become a very popular number in the year of the film's release.

'Bewafa, bekhabar balma' from 'Ram Lakhan'
Whether it is a peppy number or a solemn one, Madhuri knows how to do justice to any song. In this song from 'Ram Lakhan' where Madhuri dances in front of a captive Anil Kapoor, she reminds us why she is one Bollywood actor who can really get under the skin of her screen character.
