Couple-based reality show Raja Rani finally got its winner. Karnataka's most loved reality show witnessed the Grand Finale on November 21 and celebrity couple Neha Gowda-Chandan was elated to bag the title.
After months of entertainment, the finale episode ended with high on entertainment, veteran actor Doddanna is grace the episode. The ace actor will be making his appearance in the reality show along with his wife. For the first time, Doddanna will be seen along with his wife on-screen. Besides Doddanna, other celebs like Shubha Poonja, Manju Pavagada will also grace the grand finale of Raja Rani. The contestants will give some powerpack performances in the grand gala finale. As the stage is set to welcome some staggering performances, the contestants are gearing up to give their best to woo the judges. Mr. and Mrs. Sameer Acharya got evicted in the semi-finale of the reality show. Pavan-Suman and Sameer Acharya-Shravani were the two couples who were in the danger zone by the end of the episode. Considering the performance in the show, the judges announced Sameer and Shravani as the evicted candidates. The couple received an emotional farewell from the team. Judge Tara Anuradha felicitated Shravani before leaving the reality show. With Mr. and Mrs. Sameer's eviction, Raja Rani got its finalists of the season. While it was initially said to be that only five contestants would be qualified for the finale, the contestants were up for a googly as the judges announced Pavan-Suman as the sixth finalist of the reality show. Hence, Raja Rani got its 'super six' finalist of its premiere season.
Semi-Finals: With just a step away from the finale, reality show Raja Rani is gearing up for the semi finale. The contestants giving their best to make their way to the grand finale of the show. The couple will be showcasing their acting skils in the semi-finale round. They will be putting up an act on different themes and concepts. The judges will only be considering the acting skils and the compatibility between the couples during the act. The couples are seen decked up in various colourful costumes.
Quarter-Final: After a long gap, the couple-based reality show Raja Rani witnessed an eviction in the previous episode. Mr. and Mrs. Sujay Shastry got evicted at the tail end i.e, in the quarter-final of the reality show. While Pavan-Suman and Sameer Acharya-Shravani were also in the danger zone, the judges announced that Sujay-Sinchana was the evicted couple. The eviction was completely based on the overall marks given by the judges for their performance in the show. Judge Srujan Lokesh mentioned that he will miss Sujay and Sinchana for only one episode as the show was nearing its finale soon.

Although I have known most of them personally, it is a casual conversation for me while judging them. Undoubtedly it is like having a heart-to-heart conversation with the participants. Actress Anupama Gowda, who has hosted television shows like Kannada Kogile and Majaa Bharatha in the past, is back in her role as a host. This time around, she will be at the helm of a reality game show for real-life celeb couples, called Raja Rani.
“I am back on a set after a year and a half. My earlier shows were different from this one. Kannada Kogile was a singing show and Majaa Bharatha was about comedy. Both had judges, so my role had limitations. In Raja Rani, which explores the bond of young couples through games, I have to take complete charge of the show. I have already shot for the first episode, which was quite challenging as I needed to understand their chemistry. Games apart, the couples will also share hitherto unknown trivia about themselves.”
