A procession of TV stars led by an elephant, an aerial act and some colourful, energetic performances left the audience in awe at the Zee Rishtey Awards here.The Andheri Sports Complex Saturday night was full of TV buffs, who came dressed in best of their fineries to watch their favourite small screen stars live.Hiten Tejwani, Ankita Lokhande, Rubina Dilaik, Jay Bhanushali, Mahhi Vij, Alok Nath, Aroona Irani, Ketaki Dave and Vibha Chhibber, among other actors from the channel's popular shows 'Pavitra Rishta', 'Chhoti Bahu.. Sindoor Bin Suhaagan', 'Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli', 'Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi', 'Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein', 'Hitler Didi' and 'Shobha Somnath Ki' were present at the event.
The stars made a unique entry via a procession - the cast of each show entered separately atop either a car or rickshaw and waved at their fans.
Hosted by Mona Singh, the awards ceremony also saw an aerial act by former participants and winners of the channel's flagship dance reality show 'Dance India Dance' like Shakti, a grand skit by the cast of 'Shobha Somnath Ki' and a performance on a medley of songs by the young actors of different shows.
A one minute silence was observed by everyone in remembrance of the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.
The show was also attended by Urmila Matondkar, Shiney Ahuja, Sayali Bhagat and singer Bappi Lahiri, who enthralled the audience with a stanza of his latest chartbuster 'Ooh la la' from 'The Dirty Picture'.
The awards will be aired on Zee TV at a later date and winners will be revealed than only.

The award ceremony that celebrates relations showered Punar Vivah with awards across various categories. One of the most loved General Entertainment Channel Zee TV organized the ceremonious event of Zee Rishtey Awards with the entire Zee family this month. The channel celebrated the colours of different relationships which we get to see on-screen, daily on our TV screens. The characters of popular daily soaps on Zee burnt the stage with their sizzling dance performances and spread their sparkling smile everywhere holding the winning trophy in their hands.
They made their grand entry to the main event arena through horse driven carriages, cars, etc. The team of one of the most loved and popular show on Zee TV, Punar Vivah was seen very elated after the show bagged 7 awards
Shashi Mittal, the women behind writing creating and writing the unique concept of the show bagged an award for the Best Story while Usha Dixit got an award for the Best Dialogues. The protagonists of the show Aarti essayed by Kratika Sengar and the handsome Yash essayed by Gurmeet Choudhary won the award for the Most Popular Face.
Shobha (Geeta Tyagi) and Satyendra (Amit Singh Thakur ) scooped the award for the Best Saas Sasur. The adorable kids of Yash and Aarti, Ansh, Palak and Payal walked away with the award for the Best Kids.
The big, happy joint family, the Scindhia Parivaar was awarded the Best Parivar Award.

The month of October (2012) has been eventful for Zee TV, the pioneer when it comes to satellite television in India. The channel hit the milestone achievement of completing 20 years on 2 October, and had a series of entertaining events all through the month. The festive season only gets bigger for the channel as the Zee Rishtey Awards 2012 is about to roll in.
So what is the plan for this year? The grand awards function will be aired on 2 December 2012. The Nomination special episode will be telecast on Zee TV on 27 October. The channel recently organized a tour for its actors across many cities wherein the fans got to interact with the actors. While Sugni (Gulki Joshi) and Aditya (Nandish Sandhu) of
Phir Subah Hogi went to Lucknow, Yash (Gurmeet Choudhary) and Aarti (Kratika Sengarr) of
Punar Vivah interacted with Delhiites. It was Ahmedabad calling for Ranveer (Ashish Sharma) and Sahiba (Ekta Kaul) of
Rab Se Sohna Isshq while Arjun (Rithvik Dhanjani), Purvi (Asha Negi) and Ovi (Shruti Kanwar) of
Pavitra Rishta went to Pune. Interesting tidbits from this travel program of actors will also be aired as part of the Nomination special episode.
