First stop, some pointers that were noticed throughout the show….

• I am confused was Tushar and Ritesh there to promote their film or Salman Khan…. mentioning his upcoming flick Ek Tha Tiger and then later using his all time famous dialogue… ‘ek baar jo maine commitment kardi fir main aapne aap ki bhi nahin sunta.’ The scriptwriter for these guys might have been confused, but since it was fun anyways we can excuse them

• We agree there were talks of their flick as well….. The party was full of movie’s poster, the bantering between Tusshar and Ritesh, who ever met them appreciated there first film a lot and promised to watch this one (Well looks like the movie can gross its income through Balaji actors alone " class="wp-smiley" /> )

• Somehow Tusshar knew nobody, neither the Mumbaian socialites nor the host of the party " class="wp-smiley" /> …. gosh!! How does Ritesh knew everybody and Tusshar knew nobody?

• The serial need not be of an hour… the scenes of Vikram and Neha were not a welcome distraction from the main track. Dear Bade Achhe Lagte Hain team we hope you know that even elastic has a breaking point

• The Bade Achhe Lagte Hain writers have played very sarcastically with the script creating comedy and empathy. While Rajat’s face matches the IPL anchor and his book store girl can’t be Priya because ‘Priya Jaisa Koi Nahin.’ Not just this Ram starts missing Priya more than usual and feels that she is around somewhere!! The writers know that we know the other side of the story so they are not missing any chance to add the punch of mockery

• How many times could you faint in one hour? Whenever Tusshar was talking to Priya, a friend of Cady fainted. For that lovely lady over-dramatisation is the term

• Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is turning tables from a romantic Family drama to a suspense drama…the post leap suspense of Ram’s wife and Vikram and Neha’s divorce are raising the curiosity quotient of the audiences

Our list of observation might never end…so let us move ahead and see what happened in this one hour special of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain besides advertisements.

The moment Tusshar and Ritesh sets their eye on Priya, the show is stolen by her. Enquiring about the Yummy Mummy Tusshar goes to the host Rajat for more information. While Rajat fails in his attempts to de-track Tusshar from Priya’s route; Tusshar accomplishes one of the major works pending in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain i.e. Rajat has started to fall for Priya.

It is very well quoted in an English serial series that “All a girl needs for a date is another date.” In this special episode, this statement made all the sense. For around five years Rajat has not given so much as an attentive look to Priya/ Pooja and now when Tushar became interested he saw her for the beauty she was…Tushar in a moment’s time saw that she is a one man woman, her care for her child and the trusting factor of her smile and her eyes and our guy Mr. Rajat Kapur was bowled at that very ball. Was Priya throwing no balls all this time? We can totally believe that because it took Rajat five years to call her by her name and with a look from Priya he goes back to Ms. Sharma. Hmm looks like till now we can’t blame Priya for giving all the wrong signals…

Talking about wrong signals here’s one, while Priya is escalated to see Ram and she is just lost in the background music and smiles. Obviously Ram is unaware but Mr. Rajat thinks she is smiling at him and catches the unsent signal from Priya Satellite. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain will not leave you with just one mismatched signal, after all it was an hour’s episode. So, when Tusshar tries his luck with Priya our till now good boy Rajat eavesdrop (bad habit it will put in trouble for sure and we wait for that troubling point only… the serial has to move on " class="wp-smiley" /> .) The comment was meant for a Kapoor with ‘O’ but was taken personally by the Kapur with a ‘u’ and FYI the ‘Khadus Rajat Kapur’ can smile and he did smile.

Tusshar had lost the girl, but he would not lose a chance to give free advice…so he goes ahead and suggests Priya to grab his kapoor and never let him go.

‘Priya ka dil garden garden ho gaya’ when she sees that Ram has picked Peehu up, for the performance by some artist on the song. But this ‘Bhavra’ does not go all the way towards them to complete the family portrait (but why?). Was Priya by the chance waiting the performance to get over, it was not that special you know " class="wp-smiley" /> . The short time that you have, had to be wasted; learn a lesson Priya you can go into flashbacks any number of times but you can’t retrieve the wasted moments.

In a candid moment between Ram and Rajat (Noticed that they both are RK – Ram Kapoor and Rajat kapur, bet that could be used as a wrong signal) Rajat blushes as Ram teases him for his feeling for that bookstore girl and the fact that he was jealous. Obviously, unaware of the fact that he is not just throwing the axe on the ground but also preparing to stand over it barefooted.

Towards the end Priya sets her hair in the old manner (the one shouldered look, like Ram won’t recognize her any other way) and with flashbacks over flashbacks mingling with the background music she moves toward Ram places a hand on his shoulder and call his name…TADA!! The serial ends you have waited an hour in vain, wait some more till Monday night 10:30 to see what happens.
