You might have guessed to some extend based on the promos. Aditya comes from a broken home and Pankhuri is raised in a joint family. This show depicts two extremes in family environment and how that shapes each of these characters’ perception of love and relationships. Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara believes “kal ki parvarish pe tike aaj ke rishtey” and adopts the philosophy ‘Rishta Wahi Soch Nayi’.

Mukesh Khanna will make come back in television by this serial. He will appear on small screen after a long period of time. Lead character will be played by Nakuul Mehta in the serial. Nakuul Mehta was seen in the movie Haal-e-Dil starring Imran Hashmi. Ashlesha Sawant was last seen in Zee TV’s Dil Se Diya Vachan. In Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara, Ashlesha will play the male lead’s maasi (aunt). She will play a single woman involved in her family business. Though her character will not be entirely negative but will have a tinge of grey shade.
