With a festive mood building up, channel leaves no stone unturned...


Holi is around the corner and TV shows are celebrating this festival as well. Zee TV's Hitler Didi will witness a grand Holi
celebration in which we hear that the actors from other shows from the same channel will join in.

We have already reported that Vidya Balan recently shot with the cast of Hitler Didi.

According to our source,"All actors from the Zee shows will be present for the Holi celebrations at the sets of Hilter Didi. Mona (Sara Khan) and Aditya (Angad Hasija) of Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi, Aarti (Kratika Sengar) and Yash (Gurmeet Choudhary) of Punar Vivah, the new generation of Pavitra Rishta along with Pinto Singh (Kinshuk Mahajan) and Krishna (Mitali Nag) from Afsar Bitiya will be seen. Bharti Singh, a famous comedian will also have an act in the Holi celebrations."

The shoot is yet to take place and the episode will be aired soon thereafter.

The quiz based show will see Imagine TV's cast as contestants...


Siddharth Tewary's Swastik Pictures, Gyaan Guru, which puts light on India's tradition and rituals, will soon see a Holi special episode with few celebrity guests gracing the sets.

We hear that the cast of Imagine's Mi Aaji Aur Saheb and Jamuna Paar will be seen on the show. Megha (Reem Sheikh), Ajji (Smita Oak), Vidhi (Vidhi Parekh) and Bijju (Ankur Verma) were present for the shoot. As it was a Holi special episode the questions were based on the festive.

We contacted Vidhi who confirmed the news, " Yes, we were there on the show and it was an amazing experience. It was for the first time that I took part in a competition on National TV and we had fun. We knew some of the answers and guessed the others."

We also hear that Jamuna Paar lead were the winner of the show.

Holi is round the corner (8 March 2012) and the entire television industry is gripped by its fever. And each and every channel is trying to make its content more colourful during the occasion. Zee TV has also weaved a plot to lend his viewers a wonderful experience replete with fun and alacrity.
Now, Hitler Didi is one super popular show on the channel. Indira, the female lead of the serial played by Rati Pandey, is all set to tie the knot with Rishi (Sumit Vats) soon. And as Holi is around, so it will be a case of “Holi” matrimony.
Whoa…this sounds fun. And guess what? Bollywood hotties Vidya Balan, Dia Mirza, Jacqueline Fernandes will set the temperatures soaring with a dance act and talented crooners Kailash Kher and Sunidhi Chauhan will belt out their popular numbers. And of course, the leads of the show will also be seen shaking their legs and having a gala time during the occasion.
This particular sequence will be aired on Saturday, 10 March at 7 pm. Enjoy!!!

Holi is here (8 March 2012) and it seems that every channel is busy making its content more colourful. And SAB TV is certainly not behind in the race to woo viewers this festive season.

To add spice to masala, the creatives have planned a crossover episode between Lapataganj and FIR. The plot can be termed to be a “mini Sholay” one.

“On Holi, a notorious dacoit, Hola Singh, will enter, along with his girlfriend, the village of Lapataganj to rob the villagers,” informed a source.

Hola Singh’s girl friend will dance on the number “Hai sharmau kis kis ko batau” from the movie Des Pardes. She will be the one who will hint Chandramukhi Chautala (Kavita Kaushik) about Hola Singh and then the FIR team will capture the daku.

“Yes, the entire cast of FIR will catch the dacoit at the end the Holi sequence. It will be aired from 10 to 11pm on 9 March,” confirmed Sanjay Kohli, producer of FIR (Edit 2 Productions).

Sounds great fun! Now, the set of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is still under renovation. However, that doesn’t mean that viewers will not get to see Gokhuldham wasis enjoy their heart out this Holi. So, they will celebrate the festival at Jethalal’s (Dilip Joshi) friend’s farm house.

Furthermore, in Chidiya Ghar, Kasturi will come to play Holi with her family. On the other hand, Babuji doesn’t play Holi, but his close friend will come to visit him and this year Babuji may (or may not) enjoy the festival of colours.

“Creative team is working on the particular sequence. We will shoot on Wednesday (7 March 2012),” said Jitu Shivhare aka Gadha Prasad.

All Holi sequences will air on 9 March 2012.
