Instead of a daily soap, the show will focus on a single gag at a time...


Tellybuzz was the first one to write about Jd Majethia coming up with a comedy show on Life OK, tentatively titled as Comedy Family Ki Family Comedy. We also covered that the show would feature actors like Rajeev Mehta, Supriya Pathak, Ketki Dave and many others.

The latest we hear is that Shruti Bapna, currently seen in Sony TV's Saas Bina Sasuraal, and Abhishek Avasthi, last seen in SAB TV's Chintu Chinky Aur Ek Badi Si Love Story, have been approached to be a part of the show.

A source informs, "The show would be episodic gags instead of a full-fledged daily soap. So there would be different characters in each episode. Abhishek Avasthi and Shruti Bapna have both shot for the pilot of the show."

We contacted Abhishek Avasthi and he says, "Yes, I have shot for the pilot but nothing has been finalized."

While Shruti Bapna states, "I have been approached but I haven't decided yet."

Hats Off's two shows are ready to hit screens while few more are in the making…


The hit Gujarati couple returns with yet another comedy show...

It would really be an amazing buzz for all the Instant Kichdi (Star One) lovers that their two most eminent characters, Hansa and Praful, will soon return to the small screen.

Tellybuzz had earlier reported about Hats Off coming up with a show titled, Comedy family Ki Family Comedy, wherein names like Ketki Dave, Darshan Jariwala and Manoj Joshi had been locked in. Talks are also on with Ashwini Kalsekar to be part of the show.

The latest we hear is that Rajeev Mehta and Supriya Pathak who essayed prominent characters of Praful and Hansa, would be back with the same characters in the show.

We contacted Rajiv Mehta who confirmed, "Yes, I would once again essay Praful in the show along with Hansa and am doing two shows with the same production house. So there wouldn't be any trouble to work."

All our efforts to reach Supriya Pathak were in vain!

Upon being asked who he was pretending to be by his confused wife and daughter, he got angry and said he was the insurance broker he shares his desk with. Has an annoying, and rather frightening habit of grunting hah whenever someone says anything funny or remotely interesting. Only listens to Baa.

Supriya Pathak

Supriya Pathak returns to the big screen after 12 years and has landed two projects --- Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkaar and Saurabh Tewari's Khajoor. After a 12 year hiatus from acting, she starred in Sarkaar alongside Amitabh Bachchan & Abhishek Bachchan.Supriya is married to actor Pankaj Kapoor.In 2003, Supriya and husband both won awards at the MTR Foods Indian Telly Awards for Best Actor in a Comedic role.[1] Supriya always thought of herself as the type of actress to play tragic roles but playing the role of Hansa, for which she won the award changed her perspective.
