Bigg Boss 5: Yama receives his lunch in steel buckets! (02-01-2012)



As Sunny leaves the house, the final five contestants are seen rejoicing and are happy as they have entered the finale list. Soon, the men are made to dress up for their Bigg wrestle and once the men see the giant sumo they would wrestle, all of them end up giving scared reactions. Siddharth is assigned the task of attending to the special guest in the house. Siddharth soon starts interacting with Yama and manages to become friends with him.


In the evening, as the contestants relax after dinner, they ask Yama to sing a Japanese song. He very cutely sings a Japanese song for the contestants and soon everyone in the house starts singing with him. They teach him ‘Aati Kya Khandala’ and he repeats after them. After the singing, they teach him how to dance and he grooves with them too. They teach him to do Salman’s step from the movie ‘Dabangg’.


As the next day begins, the wake up song ‘Sayonara’ makes Yama happy and he begins humming the song. He soon jumps into the swimming pool, and Amar and Sky cannot help but make fun of the way all the water splashed out of the swimming pool. The two tell him how it felt like a mini tsunami once he jumped inside the swimming pool.


In the afternoon, Yama’s lunch is sent inside the house. The entire house is shocked to see how Yama’s food is sent in steel buckets. Looking at the way Bigg Boss has sent lunch, Yama is shocked.


In the evening, the contestants start talking to Yama about his love life back in Japan. In a while, Siddharth takes a red balloon and starts teasing Yama after Yama talks about his love life. The two have fun and are seen enjoying the moment.


In the night, Bigg Boss sends in dinner for Yama and asks all the contestants to serve him food the Indian way. Yama enjoys being treated well but at the same time very sweetly asks all the other contestants to enjoy their dinner too.


In the night, Sky taunts Amar along with Juhi about how Amar is always happy when a contestant is asked to pack bags and leave the house.

As Colors' Bigg Boss Season 5 heads towards its finale, surprises continue for the audience.

Earlier, Tellybuzz reported on the entry of Japanese Sumo Wrestling Champion, Yamamotoyama a.k.a Yama, as a celebrity guest.

While Yama was inside the house, the contestants were asked to compete in a banana eating competition with the wrestler.The three men of the Bigg Boss house- Amar Upadhyay, Siddharth Bhardwaj and Sky (Akashdeep Saigal) had a blast, as they won the task by finishing 47 bananas, while Yama managed to gulp down only 17. Yama was not able to eat much as he had gorged on a heavy breakfast consisting of parathas, eggs, seekh kababs and a jug full of lassi.

Yamamotoyama: I’ll teach Origami to ‘Bigg Boss 5′ inmates




The inmates of Bigg Boss 5 have something to look forward to in sumo wrestler-turned-origami teacher Yamamotoyama in their last week. But in this quirky attempt, will the 272 kg wrestler be successful in introducing creative craft to the housemates?

Japanese Sumo wrestling champion, Yamamotoyama, is all set to make a guest appearance on Bigg Boss 5. The 27-year-old wrestler who has recently retired from wrestling after 15 years has heard about Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, but hasn’t seen any Hindi movie yet. As he prepares to make his ‘big’ entry into the house, here’s what is going on in his mind.

Will you help the housemates with the regular activities?
I am a guest, so I hope I won’t have to do anything. Even at home I don’t do anything. I love to sleep and eat on a free day in Tokyo. But if I am explicitly asked to do housework, I will do it without any hesitation. I plan to teach the housemates a popular Japanese craft – Origami, and some sumo wrestling too. All they have to do is follow my instructions.

So what do you expect from this experience?
This is my first trip to India and so far the experience has been very good.People are kind, warm and have treated me really well. So I hope that the people continue to be warm and nice and accept me for what I am (a sumo wrestler). I have seen parts of the fourth season of Bigg Boss and know what it’s all about. I have also observed the tasks given to the contestants and how they execute it. Well, I won’t shy away from saying that I didn’t understand what they spoke, but I did observe them.

However, certain changes will be made in the house to accommodate the six-feet-four inches tall Yama. So, is it going to be challenging task to adjust?
I have been told by a close associate from India that Bigg Boss is very big in India. So, I am looking forward to my visit to India. I want to see how it is to be locked inside the house with strangers and people from different walks of life. Being a sportsman I have taken this as a challenge.

You don’t understand much of English or Hindi and will use special placards with pictorial representations to help him communicate his needs to the housemates. How do you feel about it?
Language will definitely be a barrier. However, I will try to use actions to convey my messages to the housemates. Additionally, I am sure Bigg Boss will make some special arrangements for me (he smiles). I am entering only as a guest. I will be myself and spend my time inside the house learning about the culture and meet new people from India. I hope they are happy to see me. Yamamotoyama will join contestants Amar Updhayay, Juhi Parmar, Mahek Chahal, Siddharth Bharadwaj and Akashdeep Saigal in Big Boss house on January 2, 2012. Now will the inmates follow Yama’s instructions or will the wrestler lose weight over everyday tasks remains to be seen?
