This week Star Plus raked in the numbers with a rise in GRP of 293 as compared to last week's 287. Sony TV succeeds Star Plus with a GRP of 237 followed by Colors with a 200 GRP.

Neha Marda to get hitched, will quit Balika Vadhu

Neha Marda, better known as Gehna of Balika Vadhu, is all set to get hitched come February next year! While there is no buzz as to who will step into her shoes next, the actress is determined to become a family woman.

Neha will tie the knot with Patna-based businessman Ayushman Agarwal on February 10 next year after a courtship of nine months. No, it’s not a love marriage. But Neha wants to spend time with her family after the marriage and a month-long honeymoon in Australia.

But how will the feeling of quitting a top show sink in? “It is one of the top-rated shows and I did not want to quit. But I have my priorities set. I want to spend time with my husband and my new family and explore my relationship with Ayush,” she says.

Also, being a Marwari, Neha will be participating in a lot of rituals post marriage as well. While we do understand that marriage, post-marriage rituals, honeymoon and family will consume enough time, we only hope to see her back to television.

Badi Jiji’s (Farida Jalal) visit has caused a lot of mayhem for Jagya aka Jagat (Shashank Vyas) and Anandi (Pratyusha Banerjee) in Colors’ Balika Vadhu. The two are living under the same roof in spite of having parted ways as Badi Jiji is unaware about Jagya’s marriage to Gauri (Anjum Farooki). And in the upcoming episode, they will have to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

As per our source, Dadisa will want to celebrate Badi Jiji’s birthday in a grand way. She will want the occasion to be as magnificent as the festivities of Diwali. However, there will be more masala added to this track, with Badi Jiji wanting Jagya and Anandi to celebrate their wedding anniversary. And the family members, in spite of not willing to, will reluctantly agree to it.

Jagya will get busy with the preparation and Badi Jiji will advise him not to pick up calls. At around the same time Gauri will contact Jagya, however, he will not respond. This will get her furious and she will come to Jaitsar to meet Jagya. The highpoint in this track will be that Gauri will reach Jagya’s home amidst the celebrations.
