Chetan Hansraj back to small screen with Colors' Veer Shivaji...


Chetan Hansraj is back to the small screen after his popular stint in the Bollywood flick, Bodyguard. Chetan will play an important cameo in Colors' Veer Shivaji.

According to our source, "Chetan Hansraj will play the character of Innayat Khan, the first king whose fort was conquered by young Shivaji.As the description suggests, the character has deep negative shades and will try to take revenge from Shivaji.

We contacted Chetan Hansraj who confirmed the news, "Yes, I am playing Innayat Khan, whose fort has been conquered by Shivaji. The reason to take up this show is that, first of all it's a not a daily soap. It's a periodic show and the character I am playing is very much an important one."

Reports suggest that the episodes with Chetan will be aired around mid-Jan.

Revisiting history, the Colors show takes us to Shivaji's time.


Behzaad Khan, last seen as Brij in Star One's Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, is all set to enter Colors' Veer Shivaji in a new avatar.

According to our source, "Behzaad Khann will play one of the historical and important characters of Shivaji's time. He will play the character of Noor Khan, the only Muslim loyal to Shivaji."

We contacted Behzaad Khan who told Tellybuzz, "Yes, I will be entering the show soon. I love the character. Noor Khan, is one of the commanders of Innayat Khan, who will come down to kill Shivaji but eventually becomes his friend. I researched about the character and also the look. Noor Khan was a Pathan. A furious and a strong warrior, he was one of Shivaji's best friends."

Behzaad's entry to the show will happen this week.

Sub-inspector Kajal will soon be seen as a mistress in the Colors' show...


Jaswir Kaur of CID fame will soon be seen in an important role in Colors' Veer Shivaji. As reported earlier by Tellybuzz on Chetan Hansraj's inclusion to the show,Jaswir will enter as his mistress.

According to our source, "Jaswir will play the character of Gauhar Khan, Innayat Khan's mistress. Her cameo will be an out-and-out negative one."

We contacted Jaswir who confirmed the news, "Yes, I am entering Veer Shivaji but I don't have much information about the character. I just took it up as it's a cameo and I can continue to be a part of CID."

Jaswir will commence the shoot in a few days and her entry will be shown soon.

As the periodic tale prepares for its leap, new characters makes way...

It seems like Colors' Veer Shivaji is gearing up for the leap and is preparing for its high points with various new entries. Recently Tellybuzz reported that Jaswir Kaur, Behzaad Khan and Chetan Hansraj would be part of the show. Here comes a new character that will play a vital role in the show.

A source informs, "Ravi Bhatia would essay the legendary role of Jeeva Mahala, a true friend, a savior and a loyalist to Shivaji. He has started shooting for the show and his entry is expected in a day or two. His character would end with the victory of Pratapgarh and Afzalkhan's defeat."

We contacted Ravi Bhatia who comments, "Yes, I would be essaying Jeeva Mahala in Veer Shivaji and I consider this role as my best role ever. I'm honoured to essay the brave character of Jeeva."

With this the audience would witness the true depiction of friendship!

Tanaji enters the periodic warrior tale...

As Veer Shivaji takes a step towards its leap, new characters have begun to enter the scenario. These characters will play a vital role in the history of Shivaji's life, post-leap.

After the entry of Jeeva Mahala (Ravi Bhatia), it's time for the entry of another great warrior and a close friend of Shivaji. Thus, the character of Tanaji Malusare would soon be introduced in the show.

A source reveals, "Dinesh Sharma, last seen in Star Plus' Kaali - Ek Agnipariksha as Siddharth (Sid) would essay the brave character of Tanaji Malusare. Tanaji is known for his bravery and is regarded as Sinha (Lion). He played a key role in capturing the fort of Kondana which was later on, renamed as Sinhagad."

We contacted Dinesh and he confirmed, "Yes, I have started shooting for Veer Shivaji as Tanaji Malusare and I am a little nervous to essay such a great personality. Hope I give justice to the character."

His entry is expected in this week.
