Great British Bake Off celebrities line up CONFIRMED for charity special | Great British Bake Off 2018

A line up of celebrities for Great British Bake Off's All Star edition have been confirmed.

Just like when it was on BBC One, the Great British Bake Off on Channel 4 will see a number of celebrity shows for charity.
During its time on the BBC, Bake Off aired specials for both Sport Relief and Comic Relief while Channel 4's charity version will be in aid of Stand Up For Cancer.

Today, Channel 4 has revealed the cast of celebrities taking part.

Across five episodes, celebrities appearing will be musical comedian Tim Minchin, actress, author and Host/Creator of the YouTube channel Hatching Change Teri Hatcher, TV presenter Stacey Solomon and Leader of the Scottish Conservative Party Ruth Davidson.

Comedian, writer and actress Roisin Conaty, singer songwriter Ricky Wilson, Diversity’s Perri Kiely and TV presenter Nick Hewer.

Broadcaster Melanie Sykes, actor Martin Kemp, comedian Lee Mack and Paralympic gold medallist Kadeena Cox.
Comedian Joe Lycett, Made in Chelsea’s Jamie Laing, comedian Harry Hill, comedian and actor and presenter Griff Rhys Jones.

Singer Ella Eyre, journalist and presenter Bill Turnbull, comedian Alan Carr and comedian and actor Aisling Bea.
The charity specials see a new line up of all star names each week who take part in three challenges before one celeb is crowned Star Baker.

The Celebrity editions will follow the first main series of Great British Bake Off which aired last autumn on Channel 4.
It was the first series in a new three year deal with the channel after its move from the BBC One, and proved a hit with over 10 million viewers for the final.

Restaurateur, food writer and novelist Prue Leith will be joining Paul Hollywood as judge while Sandi Toksvig OBE and Noel Fielding will host the show.

While there may be some new faces, everything else remained the same from the tent to the innuendo.

Channel 4's episodes of Bake Off will run for 75 minutes, albeit with adverts, while The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice also returned with Jo Brand staying as host.
